Everyone is aware that we have our own personal herd of wild pigs (javelina) on our property here in Payson, and have all heard us talk about the problems they cause such as rooting up the irrigation system. This year they have been around more often than normal. It’s the birdseed!
They eat birdseed off the ground that the birds kick out of the feeders. Can you imagine 15 pigs eating little birdseeds out of the gravel.......one seed at a time.
The Elk Like Birdseed also
The other morning we saw that all the bird feeders has been knocked over and overturned....even the ones hung high in the tree. There was not a single birdseed in sight but there were Elk tracks everywhere. Who knew......
