Meet Sharley Leavitt!

Saturday evening I got my wish. I was able to hold my grandaughter in my arms and dance with her on her wedding day. Every since she was just a small girl curled up on my lap I have constantly posed a question to her. "Will you save me a dance at your wedding"?
As I danced with her, memories flooded past like me like never before. I know I was there, but how did this cute little girl grow up so fast. How did she change so quickley from a child into this talented, self-confident, beautiful woman?
It made me remember that grandsons are wonderful but grandaughters are special. Grandson's get married and we are always just happy that they are no longer roaming around free. Grandaughters get married and we grieve over losing them to another man.
Sharley, you have made a great choice. Ben is an outstanding young man. May you always have the glow of happiness you were showing as we danced.
